World Tea Expo 2012
I know this is a tad late, but I have been rather busy. I just came back from Bonnaroo (which was AMAZING), but I’ll go into further detail with that on my personal blog. So for now, back to tea.
For those of you who are unaware, World Tea Expo is an annual convention of..well, tea! But it’s not open to everyone, though I think it should be. It is more a gather of wholesale, supply, and manufacturing companies from all over the world. The Expo also holds dozens of conferences, seminars, and classes for up-and-coming tea retailers and tea shops, as well some more seasoned ones. It is quite a sight, in my opinion. I don’t think I have ever seen so much tea, and so many tea lovers under one roof. I definitely slurped some of the best teas I have ever had in my entire life, including the absolutely most perfect Gyokuro Imperial ever made.
Ohhh myyyyy mmyyyyyyyy, there was just so much to take in, and I am so glad to have been a part of it, and to have met so many great tea lovers as wel as some not so great ones XD I cannot wait for next year. And maybe in a few more years I’d be able to exhibit with my own company. Oh well, who knows :)
